"M" Is For "Mice"

photo prompt by rosie hardy,  poem by gigi ann
I dropped my head of cabbage.
It rolled right out the door.
It frightened a cute little mouse,
who slid across the kitchen floor.
The cat began to chase him.
The dog just stood around.
And watched that cute little mouse
slide out the kitchen door.
It bounced around and hit the ground,
but didn't make a sound.
But  that head of cabbage
just kept rolling 'round and 'round.
While the rest of those cute little mice
found my head to curl around.

Now that first picture really creeped me out. Mice are not my friends.
The kitty was cute but I felt sorry for it. Fear in the eyes.

The video is MUCH nicer than the picture, Ann. Brrrr.
I think the kitten was only afraid of the mouse because she didn't have the remote-control herself, so she felt outnumbered.

Hi, Gigi Ann My hobby is Beachy family genealogy and Beachy Echoes blogsite. I posted a link to Leo Beachy's pictures on Face Book and then I came across your site. After reading some of your post I tried to find your family line, no luck. I would like to locate you on the family tree if possible.

Ah the patter of tiny feet. Love that nonchalant look, mice what mice.

Oh that was so much fun to watch... and love the poem, not sure I could let those mice curl up in my hair. They sure do match her outfit!

Great post for the Letter "M".

This made me laugh! We have a friend who is afraid of mice. She had one in her kitchen once and she climed up on the table and sat there all day until her husband got home from work!

Loved the poem!
